Picky is a little boy who doesn't like to eat vegetables. He always tries to avoid eating vegetables, which makes his parents very frustrated. One day, Picky woke up and was surprised to find that he had shrunk and entered the world of vegetables.
Feeling lost and confused, Picky asked a group of vegetables for directions to go home. The wise mushroom told him that in order to grow back to his normal size and return to his world, he needed to collect various nutrients from the vegetables. And how to collect them? The mushroom shook off the soil on its body and said, of course, by working!
At first, Picky was hesitant, but he soon realized that if he wanted to go home, this was something he had to do. He started working for the vegetables, helping them with various tasks in exchange for the nutrients he needed.
He helped carrots loosen the soil. The carrots breathed in fresh air and generously supplied him with carotenoids.
He watered broccoli with a hose. The water droplets shone on the head of the broccoli. The broccoli happily supplied him with vitamin C.
He helped pumpkins drive away annoying flies. The pumpkin was pleased and supplied him with vitamin A.
He held an umbrella for spinach that was about to wilt under the sun. The spinach stretched out its leaves and supplied him with iron.
He helped fertilize a large patch of eggplants. The eggplants supplied him with rich minerals.
In the process of working, Picky began to appreciate the labor and dedication of the vegetables. He started to enjoy the company of vegetables and learn to appreciate their different textures and tastes.
After working hard, Picky finally collected all the necessary nutrients and grew back to his normal size. He said goodbye to his vegetable friends and returned to his world. The experience in the world of vegetables made Picky realize the importance of a balanced diet. He no longer picked his food and found that he actually liked eating vegetables.
